European Winter Traditions

Primary and Secondary school 1rst g. students will learn different types of European winter traditions such as festivals, stories, songs to discover the European cultural heritage. Students from different cities or Countries will exchange a Mail Art during Christmas time creating beautiful postcards. Students will use perspectives, knowledge and geographical skills to explore different European countries with particular attention to different cultures and environments. The project will help students to understand global interdependence and to become a better global citizen. They learn how people from different cities or countries lived during the winter season. The students approach Geography, Art, Culture & History through this project,in an interactive, fun and attractive way. For the main activity of this project, the pupils will work with google docs, texts, presentations, audio/video clips, articles on Padlet or eMaze, Kahoot games.
