Literature is a meaningful part of our culture: writers tell us about the past, the present and the future, allowing to connect our minds to worlds that otherwise could be lost. Literature talks about people but most of all it draws themes. Presenting some important national authors each other, we’ll try to work on themes present in European writers, extrapolating the contemporary side of each one as a civic learning. Could maybe exist a common ideological landscape in European literature? Could we link authors’ works arriving from different countries in order to mark our common values? We think this can be possible, so we’ll try to start this journey together with our students, that we’ll be joined by their authors’ words.
