International comparison and analysis of the effects of high inflation rates in European countries in 2022-2023

With this project we want to analyze individual macroeconomic data with a focus on the effects of the current high inflation rates. We will compare several European economies and we will monitor the effect of the current economic situation on data such as GDP and its growth, International Trade, Unemployment rate, Debt ratio, Taxation, Budget deficit, Quality of life, Minimum Wage, Average Salary, Housing Prices, Savings, Investments, … Afterwards we will also look into the monetary policy of the European Union in response to the changes in these data.
