New Generation Bookworms

The rapid transition of the world from traditional classroom environments to virtual classroom ones has made it necessary for both students and teachers to develop digital competencies. However, it is observed that the reading habits of our children, who are exposed to technological environments throughout the day, are gradually decreasing. With this project, we aim to improve our students' reading comprehension, interpretation, analysis and evaluation cognitive skills. In addition, we plan to increase the desire, motivation and continuity of our students in reading books by including technological applications, which are now indispensable. By using digital competencies during the pandemic process, we will encourage the habit of reading books among our partner schools. It is important for us to make them realize that they can use technology to produce and exchange ideas rather than being a means of spending time. In addition, we aim to raise awareness of our students on Media Literacy
