Almus Public Education Center is a lifelong education centre under the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. Our center aims to conduct courses in multiple branches that our community needs such as language education, handicraft, music, computers, catering, tourism, etc. We can also optionally start courses on different subjects on demand.

In other words, our institution has a flexible schedule for the needs of our society. The courses are within the framework of life-long education, training, production, guidance, and application activities at various durations and levels to ensure their economic, social and cultural development in line with their interests, wishes, and abilities. Courses in Public Education Centers can be issued in two main sections for vocational-technical and social-cultural purposes. There is no restriction on the type of courses to be organized. Courses are organized in every field needed.

For vocational training our institute trains intermediate manpower working in the industry theoretically and practically; It aims to contribute to the country's economy. We can describe our aims as follows:

1. To teach the jobs and processes in various professions,
2. To make them comprehend the meaning and importance of the working discipline,
3. To make them learn the general principles and principles of occupational safety,
4. To ensure that they gain attitudes and behaviors that will enable them to adapt to working life,
5. Helping the candidate apprentices to choose a profession according to their interests and abilities,
6. To prepare them for journeyman exams by gaining the necessary knowledge, skills, and work habits related to the apprenticeship profession,
7. The purpose of Vocational Training Centers is to equip journeymen with knowledge, skills, and work habits so that they can independently perform the work and operations required by their profession and manage a workplace, and thus prepare them for mastery examinations.

We can also provide courses in those places as follows:

1- In the own buildings and facilities of Public Education Centers.
2- In the neighborhoods and villages.
3- In training rooms.
4- In prisons and penitentiaries.
5- In hospitals
6- In buildings belonging to Public and Private Institutions.
7- In buildings belonging to formal education institutions.
8- In places provided by Voluntary Organizations.
9- In other suitable places where needed.
10- In other institutions within the framework of protocols arranged between ministries.

In addition, we do not have a specific age range for issuing courses. Anyone of any age can demand courses for any subject area and we can start a course as long as the required number of people is satisfied. But it is a fact that most adults apply for lessons and we can admit people under 18 on parental permission for specific courses such as sports.

To sum up, our people can enter and leave our center as quickly as they enter their own homes. It is a center that maintains the cultural structure of our region, provides vocational and artistic education to its people, provides employment opportunities, and works as a Public Education Center aiming for an overall sustainable development so that no uneducated individual remains.
