Meetings with students
Conducting interviews
After evaluation of the motivational questionnaires, assessment of the class council and previous achievements, and in accordance with the published criteria for selecting candidates, 20 students were invited to an interview with members of the project team in the first week of January.
Team for conducting the interviews
The project team had both an easy and a difficult task; easy because all the students were really excellent, and hard for exactly the same reason. In the selection of 12 students who will travel on mobility and 3 students as a reserve in case they are prevented, the nuances really decided.
Interviews with the students
The joy is brought by the fact that in the XVIII. high school has a lot of quality students interested in implementing projects. Given the accreditation that guarantees the implementation of Erasmus+ projects, he will have the opportunity to apply for the next school year as well.
The first meeting with students
In order for the selected students and collaborators on the project to get to know each other, an introductory meeting was organized where expectations from the project were expressed, questions were asked about the course of the mobility and the activities that will be carried out, and the tasks that need to be completed in preparation for the mobility were tentatively set.
First meeting with the students
Despite the unpopular timing (Friday evening after school), the meeting was very dynamic, relaxed and constructive. An excellent team has been assembled that will work to achieve the goal of developing digital competencies in the field of media culture.
The project's name and the logo of the project
The name of the project Media Education and Digital Opportunities was devised by professor Glavaš, and the acronym of the project is MEDO.
After the project was given a name, the students were given the task of designing a logo for the project, according to their own ideas and abilities.
Student Nea Kos, who is also the editor-in-chief of the journalistic portal Kreativni kaos, created a logo that was accepted with joy by the entire project team and by students participating in mobility.

Survey about sterotypes
At one meeting, the students were given the task of creating questions related to stereotypes related to France, French people and French food.
After the collected data in the survey conducted among the students of the 18th high school, the student Magdalena Matas made a video with stereotypes.
The survey will be the starting point for working on project activities in France.
The last meeting
Along with frequent communication via the WhatsApp group and occasional meetings in the library, a few days before the trip the students and professors had the last big meeting related to the details of the trip as well as activities related to the implementation of the project in France.
Some students are traveling by plane for the first time, so they had additional questions, so the professors mentioned what can and cannot go on the plane.
Excited and happy, we finished planning activities and trips and prepared to go to France.
