Statistics
2005-2021
The number of measurements carried out during one year is an objective indicator of participation.
This number allows us to follow the evolution of participation since 2005.
From 2005 to 2014, the project is only active for the two solstices and the two equinoxes. It becomes an annual project in 2015.
From 2015, the number of measures also increases thanks to the dissemination campaigns in India and Vietnam. Collaboration with Latin American partners is strengthened: its latitudinal distance from Europe increases the accuracy of calculations.
The peak of the years 2020 and 2021 corresponds to an increase in the number of measurements at home during the confinements due to covid19.
2023
development perspectives (from 2021 evaluation)
The development perspectives for the next few years would be to mobilise more eTwinning schools during the events of equinoxes and solstices, and to retain them. We must also continue our collaboration with Latin American partners who allow us to obtain precise measurements thanks to their remoteness on geographical parallels.
2023 evaluation
The target set for 2021 has been achieved,For the 2nd year, the % of eTwinning schools is greater than 50%
