Introduction

The I.O. “ Don Bosco - Ettore Majorana” high school is located in the heart of the city of Troina, a small village in the center of Sicily. Our school’s aims are to train and educate each student in order to become a responsible citizen, active in society, and able to know and interact with the surrounding reality through a solid cultural education. It is traditionally attended not only by students from its own town but also by the near Municipalities close to the Nebrodi Natural Reserve Park. The school is open to the territory and fosters a permanent dialogue with the local institutions and the cultural, entrepreneurial, and professional entities. In this context, the school intends to fulfill its educational function. It appears to be increasingly sensitive to the needs of the community and pays particular attention to the improvement of social life.
