Monday Module 1: Reimagining education (practicing multiple perspectives) 9.00-12.00: the 5 coaching competencies to support the teacher 12.00-13.00: lunch 13.00- 14.00: best practice( sensing) visit 14.00-16.30 how do we teach resilience 16.30- coaching circle

Tuesday Module 2: From a mindful to heart education- education of 21st-century mind, body, and will ( practicing active listening, centered listening) 9.00-11.00: practicing Coaching Model for New Education ( U Lab MIT) 11.00: coffee/ tea break 11.00-13.00: practicing & case clinics (instrument for team teaching & cooperation in school) 13.00: lunch 14.00-16.30 How do we teach empathy & compassion 16.30: coaching circle

Wednesday Module 3: Multiliteracy & diversity - drama in the class, social presencing theater 9.00-11.00: Social Presencing Theater ( dealing with conflicts in a sustainable approach, approaching diversity as conflict resolution) 11.00: coffee break 13.00: lunch 14.00-16.30: how do we teach resourcefulness & a flexible mindset 16.30: coaching circle

Thursday Module 4: Action Based Learning - practicing insightful based learning 9.00-11.00: tools for insights in everyday class, curiosity & vulnerability for creative learning 11.00: coffee break 13.00: lunch 14.00-16.30: how do we teach self-leadership- “accessing wisdom from the youngest ages possible” ( Lonka, 2019)

Friday, Module 5: Social capital of teachers- decision-making ability & courageous act (prototyping & upscaling); Travel to Espoo 9-12.00: prototyping & future thinking skills in my class/school 12.00-13.00: social lunch 13.00-15.00: school visit 15.00-16.30: stakeholder dialogue& empathy walk 16.30: returning to Helsinki

Saturday, What next 10-11.00: morning coffee and informal talk with concluding and intentions after the course 11-13.00 : Museum of Helsinki, the secret history of Helsinki & workshop exploring embodiment, with local artist Lauri Jantti                                                                                  

Mansioni del partecipante prima, durante e dopo: 

The approach is experiential, focusing mostly on practice. Participants are asked to come prepared with real problems they want to solve during class, aspirations and / or ambitions.

Course participants commit themselves with preparatory tasks

-Experimental training- learn by doing approach 

-Individual and group exercises, peer learning experiments

-Team work / peer coaching

-Supervised coaching sessions

-Demonstration, invited speakers and thematic workshops

-Creating output- working individually or in groups on a concrete project to be used in their own school

  • Practice coaching model and become familiar with the coaching process to support learning methodologies for the 2st century

Monitoraggio e tutoraggio del partecipante prima, durante e dopo la mobilità

Before registration, the participants are informed about the background and previous experience of the course provider and the involved trainer(s), the targeted public, the necessary background in relation with the learning objectives and methodologies of the course, size and composition of the course group, language, content, objectives, pedagogical approach, teaching methods and learning outcomes, as well as dates, duration, location and schedule of the activities.

The participants are informed about necessary preparation provisions they need to accomplish, as well as a list of the equipment necessary for the course or training. Before, during, and after the course, the course provider addresses questions, queries and requests by participants in a timely and effective way.

Participants have the opportunity to provide an assessment of the course and feedback about their experience. The course provider provides guidance to the participants on further steps that they can take to follow-up and build on the outcomes of the course.

The course provider offers guidance and materials to facilitate the transfer of acquired knowledge and competences into practice at the participants’ institutions.

Valutazione e Riconoscimento della mobilità: The course participants will get a Certificate of Active Attendance
