Dissemination

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Step Up Face the Challenge,” we organized an event focused on presenting the project’s results and activities to a broad audience, including not only teachers from our school but also from nearby educational institutions, students, parents, and local community members. During this gathering, we introduced the main goals of the project in detail, emphasizing its focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle and personal growth. Attendees had the opportunity not only to learn about the specific outcomes of the project but also to actively participate in challenges that are an integral part of it.

In addition to tangible results, the project also produced intangible outcomes. Participants gained knowledge about healthy living, enhanced their self-assessment methodologies, and discovered new paths for personal development. The “Step Up Face the Challenge” project was intended as a model of an innovative and creative approach to education and promoting a healthy lifestyle directly within the curriculum, using self-assessment techniques.

Practical Activities and Discussion

At the event, participants could choose from several challenges offered by the project and then complete them. Each participant received an evaluation questionnaire designed to boost motivation and facilitate feedback. These questionnaires not only helped evaluate the project from the participants’ perspectives but also provided valuable insights for further developing motivation methods.

One of the main topics of discussion was the motivational issues faced by today’s children and the challenges related to changing established habits. Teachers and parents together explored effective approaches for motivating students to embrace challenges, highlighting the importance of support and cooperation from the entire community. The project helped establish model situations where students could try self-assessment, which contributed to their development and improved mutual cooperation.

Benefits for Teachers and Professional Development

The “Step Up Face the Challenge” project proved to be an exceptional opportunity for teachers, who were introduced to new methods and approaches in education. The experiences and innovative practices gained, including the application of European standards, served as an inspiration for further pedagogical work and allowed teachers to continue developing their skills, thereby fulfilling one of the project’s primary goals: to support the personal and professional growth of participating educators.

The project thus became a model for innovative approaches in education, demonstrating how healthy lifestyles and personal development can be seamlessly integrated into the school curriculum, leaving a positive impact not only on students but also on the entire community.
