A PROBLEM OCCURED
After gathering all the valuable information from the schools about Spain’s sights, museums, music, and cuisine, Andrew sends us a new letter. This time, he shares a serious issue: the problem of flooding in Spain. In his letter, he introduces a new friend—Salopek—who joins our project to help us understand and take action.
We read the letter together in class, explore the accompanying photos, and decide to act!
Each school pairs up with another and begins researching the causes and consequences of flooding in Spain. Then, working collaboratively, they create a digital or printed leaflet with an ecological message, which they share in their school community and local neighborhood to raise awareness.
