24 October United Nations Day celebration at our school
We are very happy because today we had the luck to celebrate the UN Day with a special visitor. Mr. Dimitrios Fatouros, one of the 70 members of the Greek team that works in the UN, has been invited to our school by our school director, Mrs. Thanassopoulou. He presented to our students, in an interactive way, the importance of the UN and the organization's main global actions. When he presented the 17 Sustainable Gloals, we had the opportunity to talk to him about our project and offer him one of the 3D-printed keychains with our project's logo. What a wonderful coincidence! So, pity that the students that have worked in CODE RACE @SDGs are now students in the High School, they would have been very proud! But, this visit shows the importance of the eTwinning projects, in opening our school to the world
