Everyone can do their part to fight climate change, even with small daily gestures. One important way is to reduce our ecological footprint by choosing local and seasonal foods, eating less meat and using less energy at home, for example by turning off unnecessary lights and choosing more efficient appliances. We can also reduce the use of plastic by recycling and preferring reusable products, such as water bottles and cloth bags. We can also make green choices in transport, such as walking, cycling or using public transport. If possible, preferring electric or hybrid cars helps reduce CO₂ emissions.
