Description

Flipped Learning is an innovative approach where students get their first exposure to content before coming to class and then spend in-class time engaging in activities in a dynamic, interactive learning environment. Students are active learners and the teacher guides them as they apply concepts and “dig” deeper into the subject matter. Flipped classrooms focus on active learning and student engagement giving the teacher more time to deal with mixed levels, SEN students and differentiated learning styles during in-class time.

Our course on flipped classrooms will help you learn how to deliver home lectures to students through engaging videos, differentiate tasks and instructions to reach every student and how to organize the in-class time to get the most out of it.

Learning objectives

understand the concept of Flipped Learning and how to successfully implement it in their teaching
create ready‐to‐use materials, get practical ideas
get familiar with innovative ICT tools and LMS for delivering new content and tracking students’ progress
learn to differentiate activities according to students' learning styles, interests and diverse socio-cultural backgrounds to create an inclusive learning environment
develop learner’s key competencies such as creativity, critical thinking, media and digital literacy
enrich communication skills, improve foreign language competencies and engage in the cross-cultural learning experience

Methodology & assessment

Methodology is based on active participation, hands-on activities and experiential learning suitable and applicable in different subjects and at various levels. Participants will acquire practical knowledge and develop their own skills through workshops, model lessons, project based learning, collaborative activities and hands-on interaction with ICT tools applicable for Flipped learning and teaching.
