Kick-off work meeting at the French school in Matouri, French Guiana

During the work meeting the partners discussed in detail and confirmed the calendar of activities. The coordinator school introduced the topic of Light Pollution and shared their thematic experience gained at the summer school on Light Pollution they attended in 2022 under Erasmus+, KA1. The Bulgarian students who attended the meeting gave an introductory overview of the light pollution issue based on their initial experience.

The partners elaborated a template for each teacher to follow when designing lesson plans of activities they carry out at each partner school to be amalgamated in the project final product, Dark Side of Light Guidebook.

The partners shared relevant previous experience: on eSafety (the Bulgarian partner coordinator shared experience from an eSafety eTwinning seminar she had attended at the European Schoolnet), DiStars Platform (the Belgian partner shared experience gained at an Erasmus+ KA1 summer school handling the tool).

The partners also discussed the arrangement of our cooperative eTwinning project of the same name (the Portuguese and Bulgarian partners created the first TwinSpace pages.

The Portuguese partner introduced the concept and contests of the international project DarkSkyRangers promoted in Portugal by NUCLEO to be implemented in our project activities. https://dsr.nuclio.pt/contests/.

The participants developed our project eSafety Code of conduct and posted it in the project TwinSpace for further reference. The partners confirmed activities deadlines and formats of the final products to avoid any possible hardship when elaborating them.
