Historiana - Your Portal to the Past

Historiana is an on-line educational multimedia tool that offers students multi-perspective, cross-border and comparative historical sources to supplement their national history textbooks. Historiana Labs is a place to exchange information related to the use of digital technologies for the advancement of history education.

Moodle courses for STEM teachers in 24 EU languages

Anyone can now improve their knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education, by trying out one or more of the new Moodle courses developed by Scientix Teacher Ambassadors. What's more, they are now available in all the 24 official languages of the European Union.

Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education (EDC/HRE)

Created by the Council of Europe, EDC/HRE offers a wealth of teaching and learning materials. Explore for example "Charter for All" which explains the EDC/HRE in a fun a friendly way, including a brochure, posters, guidelines for educators and filmed animations in different languages. The training pack "Teaching Controversial Issues" is designed to support and promote the teaching of controversial issues in European schools.

Lindau mediatheque: Physics

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings have created a collection of mini-lectures, which can be used in the classroom and add to the students' learning experience. The following videos are available in English, German, Spanish and French.

United in diversity

The booklet is an ideal way for children to learn about the diversity of the European family. The Virtual Guide to Entrepreneurial Learning

The Virtual Guide to Entrepreneurial Learning is a practical and useful tool for teachers in primary, secondary and vocational schools that want to mainstream entrepreneurial education in teaching methods and learning processes they set up in classroom every day. The guide contains more than 100 tools and methods to support entrepreneurial teaching and learning, good practices and framework documents from 85 different schools in 10 countries.

TEMI is aiming to help transform science and mathematics teaching practice across Europe by giving teachers new skills to engage with their students, exciting new resources and the extended support needed to effectively introduce inquiry based learning into their classrooms. The website offers free downloadable education tools (available in 8 languages).
