Description

This is a general language development course aimed at teachers. This course is tied to the school curriculum framework which is closely tied to the CEFR and utilises learning outcomes appropriate to the level of the learners.

Learning objectives

The course will aim to meet the course participants language needs and to help support them on their journey as an independent language learner. This course will also encourage participants to think of the way lessons are delivered and to begin to reconsider the implications of certain choices that a teacher makes both in the planning and delivery of lessons.

Methodology & assessment

This course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills. This course is suitable for teachers at all levels of language development and pedagogical competency. The content of this course can be modified based on the needs expressed by the course participants to ensure that all of the participants have their needs met. This is a general language development course aimed at teachers. It will blend general language development with a focus on pedagogy and certain teaching methods and contexts. We will look at the theory and the practice behind some of the lessons we provide.

If cancellation 15 days before the course starts: Full fees are paid subject to a minimum charge of 250€ per person, including the deposit.
