Colaborative Book
The pedagogical principles of a collaborative story involve creating a participatory learning environment in which students are encouraged to collaborate, share ideas and build narratives together about a story experienced outdoors. In this activity the pedagogical principles addressed were:
- Active participation: Students were encouraged to actively participate in the creation of a story involving the environment and taking place outdoors. They contributed to the development of the narrative with ideas, characters and scenarios.
- Teamwork: Students worked as a team, shared responsibilities and respected their peers' contributions to storytelling and illustration.
- Creativity and imagination: Students had the opportunity to develop the story in a digital tool, Canva, exploring different graphic possibilities.
- Dialogue and communication: Students expressed their ideas, and shared solutions for the joint construction of the story.
- Appreciation of diversity: Each student contributed to the construction of a unique and inclusive story, both in terms of diversity of ideas, perspectives and cultures.
- Autonomy: The collaborative story allowed students to be protagonists in the narrative, to be autonomous and make decisions.
This activity enabled the creation of a collaborative learning environment in which students were actively involved in the creation of the story, developing teamwork, communication, creativity and critical thinking skills.
