WE CHOOSE HEALTH

Promoting adequate nutrition is a public health objective pursued through specific actions and projects at both European and national level. In 2015, the European Food and Nutrition Action Plan 2015-2020 launched, in collaboration with the Member States, international organizations, professional associations and health experts, a European Action Plan for Food and Nutrition Policy 2015-2020 identifying four health topics: -related to eating habits, -obesity in children and adolescents, -micronutrient deficiency, -related to food security. In the current context, physicians and teachers play an essential role in this, suggesting the most appropriate nutritional intervention and sensitizing that a healthy diet is essential to maintaining health. On the other hand, people who depend on plant health - cultivate a piece of land, a garden are activities that are presented as a panacea for well-being and health. While contact with nature helps the body reacts to forms of depression that diminish the stimulus, the green helps to cope with life, because it gives courage and stimulates optimism. In many schools and public places, it looks green to resume the direct thread that binds us to the ground.
