World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. On 7th March in the UK and Ireland and on 23rd April in other countries, children of all ages will come together to appreciate reading. The main aim of World Book Day is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and improve reading skills. This project will allow us to share with our partners how we have celebrated World Book Day.
