Neuroscience: Understand How Your Students Learn
Participants will deepen their understanding of the learning process, besides discovering how to integrate realistic neuroeducation strategies into their classroom in order to assure long-lasting retention of knowledge; therefore, they will become able to help their students reach their full potential.
Description
Everybody knows what our students should learn, but did anyone ever tell you how they learn? This is fundamental to any teacher in a teenage classroom! Telling today’s teenagers what to learn is no longer enough. Both teachers and students need to truly understand how to learn. This knowledge needs to be backed up by research-based evidence and the self-confidence that participants will gain during this course by spending time on practical experimentation with different learning strategies and techniques. This course uses experiential learning to help educators integrate realistic and practical Neuroeducation strategies into the classroom, to enhance and improve teen learning, build long-term memory, and boost learning potential. Participants will learn how to integrate the NeuroEducation Super Protocol to plan their lessons and create a classroom that works in the way that the brain 'likes' to learn. Participants will also experience classroom strategies that reflect what we know about the brain and learning, as well as getting an insight into the inner workings of the teenage brain. By the end of this course, participants will be able to help students reach their full potential academically, mentally, and socially by unlocking the ‘black box’ of teenage minds and hacking their behavior.
