Our famous quotes
My favourite quote by an Italian author

"Fatti non foste a viver come bruti, ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza."

Dante Alighieri

This quote means that human beings are not born to live without thinking, like animals, but to pursue virtue and knowledge. It invites us to improve ourselves through learning and moral values.

My favourite quote by an Italian author

"It happened, so it can happen again: this is the nucleus of what we have to say. »
(Primo LEVI, Les Naufragés et les Rescapés, 1986)

This sentence is a warning against forgetting. Primo Levi insists on the reproducible character of evil: "Shoah" is not an isolated aberration, but a historical reality which can happen if the societies do not remain vigilant. And for me it means that you have to learn from the mistakes that not reproduce them in the future.

"Ils ne savaient pas que c’était impossible, alors ils l’ont fait." by Mark Twain

This quote from Mark Twain means that sometimes, when you don't know that something is supposed to be too difficult or impossible, you try ... and you succeed.
It just shows that what blocks us most is not always the real obstacles, but what we think is impossible or too hard. In fact, if we stop telling ourselves that we can't do something, we're much more likely to succeed. It's a lesson in courage, self-confidence and the importance of trying, even if others think it's too hard.

My favourite quote by an Italian author is :

"Un linguaggio diverso è una diversa visione della vita."
By Federico Fellini

This quote means that each culture, each nation, sees the world in a different way. So that each people has a different opinion, a different belief.
And that's why it's so interesting to travel, in order to discover new way of thinking, of admiring the world.

"Lire c'est voyager, voyager c'est lire" by the famous author Victor Hugo

This famous phrase by Victor Hugo underlines the link between reading and travelling. To read is to escape into another universe, another world. To be someone else through the characters in the stories. Reading is about discovering new things. Travelling enriches our culture and lets us discover new horizons, just like reading. This sentence is simple but inspiring, it's a beautiful vision of travel and reading.

My favorite quote by a French autor :

" Le souvenir est le parfum de l'âme." by George Sand

This phrase mainly evokes the memory, which would be imprinted on our soul like a perfume on our skin. It evokes the power of our memory for the memories of childhood, the significant events of our life, as if they were clinging to our soul, like a perfume. In a way, it shows the indelibility of our memories.

”The onky thing we have to fear is fear itself”-Franklin D. Roosevelt

”The only thing we have to fear is fear itself” -Franklin D. Roosevelt
