Level Up Learning: Practical Gamification in Training
Level Up Learning introduces educators and trainers to practical gamification strategies that boost engagement, motivation, and active participation. Participants explore how game elements and digital tools can transform training into dynamic, learner-centered experiences that support meaningful learning and lasting impact.
Description
In modern learning environments, engagement and motivation are key drivers of success. This course introduces educators and trainers to the principles and practice of gamification, using game elements to enrich learning and boost participation.
Participants explore evidence-based strategies and learn practical techniques to motivate learners, sustain engagement, and support active involvement. Through interactive workshops and real-world examples, they discover how to use goals, feedback, progression, challenges, badges, and storytelling in teaching and training.
The course focuses on adult education and supports participants in designing gamified lessons and activities adapted to their professional context, with attention to inclusion, assessment, and learner wellbeing.
By the end of the week, participants will have created a personalised gamification plan and gained the confidence and tools needed to make learning more dynamic and effective.
