Description

Thus, this engaging and comprehensive training course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical strategies needed to effectively incorporate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into their educational settings. Through interactive sessions, participants will gain valuable insights into creating an emotionally safe classroom environment, teaching self-awareness and self-management skills, fostering social awareness and relationship skills, and integrating SEL into daily curriculum planning and lesson design.

Methodology & assessment

The methodology of the training course includes a learner-centred approach and a focus on enhancing continued personal development. The training aims not to produce ready-made solutions (passive learning), but to inspire the participants to search creatively for knowledge and effective solutions, which are connected with their needs and challenges (active learning). In this way, the participants take responsibility for their own learning process and act as active partners in the training.
Through a combination of theory and hands-on activities, teachers will discover effective strategies for integrating SEL into their daily lesson plans and activities. Methods such as debate, pair and group work, and individual practical exercises will be used throughout the course.

This course equips educators with SEL strategies through interactive materials, digital tools (Kahoot, Mentimeter, Padlet), and well-being toolkits. Participants engage with case studies, scenario-based learning, and self-assessment tools to enhance emotional intelligence, self-regulation, and mindfulness in classrooms. Practical exercises and digital resources support stress management and student engagement, fostering a positive learning environment.
