This course aims to provide theoretical and practical information on the topic of linguistic mediation in the classroom, offering educational insights based on classroom-based research on integrating technology and multilingual approaches.
Description
This course will enable teachers to deepen their theoretical understanding of teaching and employing mediation in the classroom, using the Companion Volume of the CEFR as a reference. Additionally, teachers will be guided in identifying and creating mediation exercises based on authentic school textbooks. The topic of mediation will be integrated with the teaching practice of task-based learning and practical guidelines on the inclusion of technology will be offered. Practical examples will be provided, using materials of the recently concluded ERASMUS+ project 'Template'.
