4) Deepening
The following activities are carried out in order to deepen the subject:

1-Common song: A project common song is created with the participation of all partners. You can access our joint song from the link below:

2-Combining the letters of the project name written by the partners with waste materials (Writing the project name with waste materials)

A joint acrostic poem for the project is written with the participation of all partners. (storyjumper)

6- The 5th goal of 12 of the Sustainable Development Goals; Significantly reduce solid waste production through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse by 2030. For this purpose, our students

*The final product of the project will be a pencil holder from waste materials.

Students will draw the prototype of the pen holder they designed. (Pen holder dimensions will be indicated in the drawings according to grade level.
Students will be able to form geometric shapes, geometric objects, length measurements, area measurements, value measurements, etc. from the waste materials used in the final product pencil case. It will be associated with mathematics course topics.

You can access sample studies from the links below:

A survey can be created after the meeting and the final product can be determined with the participation of partners. The pen holder is revised according to the survey results.

17 May Global Recycling Day

The Global Recycling Day 2024 is approaching. With rising climate change issues, and the amount of waste surpassing all expectations, recycling comes as a natural response to numerous environmental threats. There are many things we can do when it comes to recycling, and when we unite, we can achieve any goal ahead of us.

For the Global Recycling Activity, your students can choose one or more of the following topics:

1.Go paperless with stone paper notebooks

2.Donate or sell items you no longer want or need

3.Shop for secondhand clothes

4.Shop for items you can reuse again and again

5.Have a separate bin for recyclables

6.Start reusing items you have at home

7.Shop smarter - compostable and recyclable items

8.Join our agood loop™ system

9.Join a community clean-up event

10.Prevent food waste
