🌍 Around Europe with AI! 🚀

An eTwinning adventure for students aged 11–13

Ready to hit the road — virtually?
In this creative project, students will team up across Europe to plan an epic green trip using the magic of AI! Along the way, they’ll uncover the fascinating lives of Europe's greatest STEM minds and design awesome travel brochures to show it all off. Let's get packing!

🎯 Who’s it for?

  • Students aged 11–13
  • Schools from 5–7 different countries
  • Each school: 12–16 participants
  • Project language: English

🛤️ Project stages: Let’s hit the road!

1. Mastering the Art of the Perfect Prompt

  • Teachers share a quick tutorial on how to talk to AI like a pro.
  • Students brainstorm together: what makes a great prompt?

2. AI-Powered Inspiration

  • Students use Canva’s Trip Planner AI to dream up their European tours.
  • They collect and share all the amazing destination ideas on a Padlet or Wakelet.

3. Meet the Great Minds of Europe

  • Students dive into the fascinating stories of Europe's top STEM legends.
  • They create short, creative presentations — and maybe even a mini local exhibition!

4. Forming International Dream Teams

  • Teams of 4–6 students from different countries join forces.
  • Each team chooses a legendary scientist (like a chemist, physician, mathematician, or engineer) to base their journey around.

5. Math Meets Adventure

  • With a little tutoring help, teams figure out how many different routes they could take if they can only visit each destination once!
  • They post their brilliant route ideas on Padlet or Wakelet.

6. Going Green!

  • Time to put on their critical thinking hats!
  • Teams compare their travel options and rank them based on how eco-friendly they are.

7. Designing Brochures Like Pros

  • Students turn their chosen green trips into stunning travel brochures using AI tools like Canva.
  • Brochures are shared with all international friends!

8. Wrapping Up the Adventure

  • Time to reflect: what did we learn?
  • Students fill in quick exit tickets to sum up their thoughts and celebrate their journey.

🚀 Project goals

  • Spark creativity, critical thinking, and English skills ✨
  • Shine a spotlight on amazing scientific careers 🔬
  • Build digital and intercultural superpowers 🌐
  • Show how AI can be a responsible, creative tool in education 🤖

🌟 Final Outcomes

  • Short, inspiring presentations about Europe's great STEM legends and their groundbreaking discoveries.
  • A colorful collection of travel brochures recommending must-visit spots where Europe's top scientists lived and worked.
  • Local exhibitions to inspire the next generation of scientists!

🎨 Virtual Art Festival ✨

An eTwinning project for students aged 14–17

Can you draw, paint, create digital art, write, or sing? Then pack your creativity — we're designing a virtual art festival together! Share your talents, celebrate diversity, and create unforgettable moments with friends from across Europe. 🎤🎨🖌️

🎯 Who’s invited?

  • Students aged 14–17
  • Schools from 4–6 different countries
  • Each school: 12–16 participants
  • Project language: English

🎭 Project Stages: Let’s create something amazing!

1. Discovering Europe’s Art Festivals

  • Students dive into research about traditional art festivals across Europe.
  • They create short, colorful presentations and swap discoveries with international friends.

2. Setting the Stage: Ethics First!

  • Each country suggests its own set of ethical AI guidelines.
  • Using tricider.com, students vote and create a common publication about the responsible use of AI.

3. Building an Inclusive Creative Space

  • Teams discuss the "dos and don'ts" for working together respectfully.
  • They agree on rules and publish them to keep creativity flowing in a positive way!

4. Forming Global Creative Crews

  • Groups of 4–6 students from different schools join forces.
  • Each team picks an artistic category — like music, drawing, digital art, singing, or poetry.

5. Creating Festival Magic

  • Students share their creations (or their project plans) with their team.
  • Together, they plan the details of the big event!

6. Spreading the Word with AI Magic

  • Students use Character.ai to create festival mascots!
  • These AI-powered characters "learn" all about the festival (date, place, performers, audience, concert lengths, etc.) and interact with visitors, answering questions and promoting the event.

7. Showtime: Organizing the Festival!

  • Students perform, showcase their art, and engage the audience — all online!
  • It’s time to shine and celebrate each other's talents.

8. Reflecting on the Journey

  • After the festival, students pause to reflect on what they’ve learned.
  • They fill in quick exit tickets to share their thoughts and feelings about the project.

🌟 Project Goals

  • Boost creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity across borders 🎨🌍
  • Celebrate the beauty and importance of art festivals 🎶🎭
  • Strengthen digital and intercultural skills in a creative way 💻💬
  • Show how AI can be used ethically and creatively in education 🤖💡

✨ Final Outcomes

  • A digital publication about the ethical use of AI in art projects
  • A digital publication about building inclusive creative spaces
  • A Virtual Art Festival full of performances that promote the richness of European culture — and highlight how art supports mental health and well-being 💖
