Students will become sea captains inviting people to sail with them in order to explore three important seas that connect the 2 schools: the Mediterranean sea, which is the sea of origin for the 2 countries, Italy & Greece, the Adriatic sea which lies close to the cities or islands that our students come from and the Nord sea which is close to Belgium where the Greek students live as expats. Throughout the project students will study the history of these seas sailing to explore historical elements, compare the seas with scientific experiments, spot the endangered marine species and highlight places to visit or recipes to taste. Sailing will help students to cultivate language skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills using the technology to boost their imagination and creativity.
