Coding Kindness: When Christmas Messages Teach Empathy

Today my students received a wonderful Christmas card from teacher Elisa Ceccarelli and her students from class 3B — written entirely in ROT3 code! They had so much fun decoding the message and discovering the Christmas wishes hidden inside. 🧠🔐

This activity helped them explore the value of giving and empathy while connecting it to digital literacy and playful cryptography, showing how coding can make communication both meaningful and exciting. It was a joyful way to learn — combining creativity, decoding, and holiday spirit! 🎄💫

A big thank-you to Elisa and her class for this creative and engaging surprise — cracking codes and sparking smiles truly captures the Christmas spirit! 🎁✨

Getting to know Twinspace and Writing to our Forum

Today my students logged in using their personal accounts and explored the TwinSpace of the project, navigating through its pages to become familiar with the platform. Finally, they actively participated in the forum by posting about the October activities.

Today we remixed the game that teacher Elisa Ceccarelli had proposed! My students added some more kind and unkind words. They changed the sounds and finally they played the game! They had so much fun! 😍
