How to report a Code Week activity
For the activities registered on Code Week platform, we are awarded
- Certificate for running a Code Week event
- Certificates of participation for the pupils, teachers or schools
- we also qualify for the Certificate of Excellence on Code Week because we have participants who used our activity from more than 3 countries. The Certificates of Excellence will be issued in January or February 2025.
To get the Certificates for teachers and children you need to Report the activity and claim the certificate.

How to generate a certificate for running a coding event
1. Visit https://codeweek.eu/
2. Log in your profile
3. Click on My activities and choose the activity Code4EU (Or the name you gave it)
4. Click on View and open it
5. Above the round logo there is a tab Report activity and claim certificate. Click on it.

3. Click on Report my activities
4. Select your activities from the list
5. Click on the activity
then
6. Complete the fields:
a. * Participants count: (the number of children from your group/class)
b. * Average participant age: (the age of the children)
c. * Percentage of females: (!!! pay attention it says percentage!!! Example: For a group with 10 girls and 10 boys you need to write 50, because 50% of your group is female. Don't put 10 as in the number of girls)
d. * CodeWeek for all participation code: it is automatically written our code. If you didn't write it then by mistake, you can write it now in the report. It is cw24-lDIr5
e. * Name for the certificate: your name (if you want you can also put your school, but no more than 40 characters and use only Latin letters, no accents or special characters).
7. Click Submit activity report
8. Your certificate is ready. Click to download it. A PDF will open with your certificate. Save it.

How to generate participation certificates
1. Visit https://codeweek.eu/
2. Log in your profile
3. Click on Participation Certificate
4. Complete the fields
a. * Names for certificate: Prepare a word document with all the pupils in your class, one after the other and their name separated by a comma ( , ). You can also write your name, your school’s name or other name
b. * Activity name: Code4EU (or the name you gave your activity)
c. * Activity date: you can put 14 - 25 October 2024 or what date you wrote in your activity when you registered it.
5. Click Generate certificates
6. A new page (My certificates section of your profile) appears and your certificates are at the top of the list. Download the certificates on your computers because they are in a ZIP archive with separate pdfs.
