The European Commission acknowledges the outstanding commitment of teachers in planning and running eTwinning projects. Every year, we celebrate the most innovative, engaging and collaborative eTwinning projects. eTwinners can apply for National and European Quality Labels and the prestigious European eTwinning prize.

eTwinning brings Europe directly into my classroom. Our award-winning project enabled students from three countries to work on entrepreneurial challenges. They developed business and intercultural skills, worked in diverse teams, overcame barriers and became active European citizens.

For schools

Schools who actively participate in eTwinning can also apply for the eTwinning School label. eTwinning schools are leaders in the eTwinning world. Their school management and teacher leaders recognise the importance and values of eTwinning and embed it in their school’s policies, practices and professional development.

ITE institutions can embed eTwinning into their curriculum, complete projects and conduct research. The national label and the yearly European award for initial teacher education celebrate the most active and inspiring ITE institutions in eTwinning.
