Alexandra Mavridou was born in Thessaloniki, where she currently lives. She is a philologist in the Public Secondary Education system. From September 2013 to June 2023, she was serving at the Experimental School of the University of Thessaloniki. She is currently the Principal of the Musical School of Thessaloniki.
She studied Literature at the Aristotle University, European Culture in the Hellenic Open University and Creative Writing at a postgraduate level in the University of Western Macedonia, Greece. Her scientific and research interests focus on Medieval and Modern Literature, Creative Writing and the use of ICTs in teaching philological subjects.
She has edited and prefaced several poetry collections and has published articles in literary magazines.
