Description

This general English course is designed specifically for teachers who wish to improve their language skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. With over 50 carefully structured lessons, the program offers a balanced mix of grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice.

Participants will engage in both indoor and outdoor activities, providing varied opportunities to apply their learning in real-world contexts. These activities are designed not only to enhance language proficiency but also to introduce learners to effective strategies for improving their own language acquisition skills. By the end of the course, participants will feel more confident in their ability to communicate effectively in English, both professionally and in daily life. The courses last 5-10 days according to the participants wish.

Learning objectives

The objective of this course is to align with the Erasmus+ program's goals by fostering professional development through enhanced English language proficiency for teachers, promoting lifelong learning, and supporting intercultural awareness. By improving their communication skills, participants will strengthen their ability to engage in international collaboration, exchange best practices, and contribute effectively to inclusive and diverse educational environments. This course also empowers educators to better integrate innovative teaching methods and cross-cultural understanding into their professional practices.

Methodology & assessment

The teaching model of this course is learner-centred, combining interactive lessons with experiential and task-based learning. Participants engage in a variety of activities, including group discussions, role-playing, problem-solving tasks, and real-life simulations, ensuring active participation and practical application of language skills. Lessons are structured to balance input and output, with a strong emphasis on communication and collaboration. Indoor sessions focus on structured skill development, while outdoor activities provide opportunities for contextual learning, cultural exploration, and practical use of English in authentic environments.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

The participants can apply for the 5 or 7-day version of the course. The fee is based on the 80 euros per day rate. All the learning materials will be provided by the course organizers.

Certification details

Participants who complete the course will receive an Erasmus+ certificate of achievement, recognizing their dedication and the progress made in improving their English language skills.

Cancellation & changes:

Cancellation up to 30 days before to commencement date: Cancellation Fee €250 per participant.
Cancellation 30 days before commencement date or later: No refund.
There is no refund if a participant fails to complete the programme.
