WELLBEING IN SCHOOLS: Emotional education to learn/teach crucial life skills for a peaceful school environment
In this comprehensive program, educators will gain valuable knowledge, strategies, and practical tools to prioritize and enhance the wellbeing of both themselves and their students. Throughout the course, participating teachers will explore various dimensions of wellbeing, including social-emotional skills, effective communication, resilience, and self-care practices.
Description
Education cannot succeed if students’ physical, emotional, and social needs are unmet. Promoting well-being in schools lays the foundation for improved academic performance, behavior, social integration, and satisfaction for both students and teachers. This course equips educators with the tools to care for their own and their students’ emotional well-being. Participants will learn to recognize and manage emotions, develop self-awareness, address limiting beliefs, and foster personal skills like resilience, self-esteem, and motivation. They’ll also build social skills, such as communication and cooperation, and promote a respectful, inclusive, and constructive school environment that supports both learning and personal growth.
