"GREEN FUTURE: Youth for Sustainable Development" is an Erasmus+ training course designed to empower young individuals to become active leaders and advocates for sustainable development. This dynamic program brings together youth from diverse backgrounds to explore innovative solutions for environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices. Through a series of interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and collaborative projects, participants will gain a deep understanding of sustainable development principles and the role of youth in driving positive change.
The course will cover key topics such as climate change, renewable energy, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable urban planning. Participants will also develop critical skills in project management, digital communication, and community engagement, enabling them to effectively advocate for and implement sustainable initiatives in their own communities.

Module 1: Introduction to Sustainable Development and the Role of Youth
Objectives:
- Understand the principles and goals of sustainable development.
- Explore the critical role of youth in promoting sustainability.
- Introduce key concepts related to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
Module 2: Leveraging ICT for Sustainable Development
Objectives:
- Explore the potential of ICT in driving sustainable development.
- Learn about digital tools and technologies that support environmental sustainability.
- Develop skills to utilize ICT for data collection, analysis, and advocacy.
Module 3: Gamification and Interactive Learning for Sustainability
Objectives:
- Understand the principles of gamification and its application in education.
- Explore interactive learning methods to teach sustainability concepts.
- Develop and implement games that promote sustainable behavior.
Module 4: Teaching Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Management
Objectives:
- Equip educators with the knowledge and tools to teach
Methodology & assessment
Instructional Approach
1. Active Learning: Emphasis is placed on active learning through interactive workshops, group discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world problem-solving scenarios.
2. Gamification: The course itself is gamified to model the principles being taught. Participants will engage in game-based activities, earning points and badges for completing modules and tasks.
3. Project-Based Learning (PBL): Participants will engage in project-based learning activities, culminating in the design and implementation of a gamified SDG action plan.
4. Collaborative Learning: Participants will work in teams to foster collaboration, peer learning, and the sharing of diverse perspectives and experiences.
5. Reflective Practice: Regular opportunities for reflection are built into the course to help participants consolidate their learning and think critically about their practice.

Certification details
The Erasmus+ Official Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants who have successfully completed the rigorous training course titled "Green Future": Integrating SDGs, Sustainability, Gamification, and ICT for Transformative Teaching." This certificate signifies the participant's dedication and achievement in mastering a comprehensive curriculum that includes understanding and integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into educational settings through gamification and ICT.
We are pleased to provide a Europass Certificate upon request. This document certifies the skills and competencies acquired during the course and aligns with European standards for education and training.
