Description
The "EcoTech: ICT for Sustainable Development and Environmental Preservation" training course aims to empower participants with the knowledge and skills to leverage information and communication technologies (ICT) for environmental sustainability. This Erasmus+ program brings together professionals and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to explore innovative ICT solutions that address pressing environmental challenges. Participants will enhance their competencies in sustainable practices, environmental education, and digital solutions while fostering intercultural collaboration and knowledge exchange. The course focuses on practical applications of ICT in promoting sustainable development, encouraging policy advocacy, and supporting organizational sustainability. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to create impactful digital solutions for environmental preservation and promote eco-friendly practices in their respective communities and organizations.
Learning objectives
Module 1: Introduction to Sustainable Development and ICT
Objectives:
- Provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development principles.
- Explore the role of ICT in promoting and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
- Introduce key concepts and terminologies related to environmental preservation and ICT.
Module 2: ICT Tools and Technologies for Environmental Monitoring

- Equip participants with knowledge of advanced ICT tools for environmental monitoring.
- Demonstrate the application of IoT, sensors, and data analytics in tracking environmental changes.

Instructional Approach
