The “Effective Classroom Management” Erasmus+ KA1 course is designed for educators who are looking to enhance their classroom management skills and create a positive learning environment for their students. As an Erasmus+ course, this program offers an opportunity for teachers to gain new skills, share knowledge with peers from different countries, and improve the quality of their education.

Our experienced course trainers will guide you through a comprehensive program that includes an overview of effective classroom management practices as well as practical strategies for promoting student engagement, managing behaviour, and creating a positive classroom culture.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of the “Effective Classroom Management” Erasmus+ KA1 Course, participants will be able to:

Understand the principles and theories of effective classroom management, and be able to apply them to their own teaching practice.
Identify factors that contribute to classroom disruptions and develop strategies to prevent and manage disruptive behaviour.
Develop positive relationships with students and foster a positive classroom culture that supports learning.
Establish clear expectations and routines for behaviour and learning, and effectively communicate these to students.
Use a variety of communication strategies to promote student engagement and facilitate learning.
Develop and implement a classroom management plan that meets the needs of their students and is tailored to the specific context of their teaching practice.
Reflect on their own teaching practice and identify areas for ongoing professional development in the area of classroom management.

Methodology & assessment

The Effective Classroom Management Erasmus+ KA1 course uses practical, hands-on methods to help participants apply strategies directly to their teaching. Lectures and presentations provide key concepts, while interactive workshops allow teachers to practice techniques in a supportive setting with peer and trainer feedback. Case studies and role-playing link theory to real-life classroom scenarios, strengthening problem-solving and decision-making skills. Peer-to-peer learning fosters collaboration, sharing of best practices, and the building of an international professional network. Reflection and self-assessment are integrated throughout, enabling participants to evaluate progress, identify areas for growth, and create plans for ongoing development. This mix of methodologies ensures a dynamic, engaging learning experience that prepares teachers to manage classrooms more effectively and confidently.

We offer comprehensive support to participants in every aspect of their journey, including assistance with the procedural and administrative tasks involved in issuing and processing essential technical documents required by their home schools. This includes:

Course package content:

The course fee is 80 euros per person per day, which includes:
1. Participation in the course sessions.
2. Coffee breaks provided after each daily session.
3. Accompaniment for a city tour to explore the local area.

What’s not included in the fee:
1. Entrance fees to museums and cultural sites during the city tour.
2. Some optional cultural activities may require an additional fee.
3. Accommodation, meals, and transportation are not covered and must be arranged individually by the participants.

Cancellation & changes:

In the event of force majeure—such as natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or other unforeseen events beyond our control—we will:
1. Offer participants the option to reschedule for a future course date.
2. Provide a voucher for the course fee, valid for up to one year, to be used for any of our upcoming courses.
