The “Multicultural Classroom” course is designed to provide teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Description
The Multicultural Classroom Erasmus+ KA1 course equips teachers with skills to build inclusive, positive learning environments for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants explore key concepts of multicultural education, including cultural diversity, intercultural communication, and cultural sensitivity. The course emphasizes practical strategies to address cultural bias and strengthen relationships with students. Using interactive and experiential methods such as role-playing, group discussions, and case studies, teachers apply concepts to real-world scenarios and receive feedback from trainers and peers. By the end, participants gain tools and strategies to create welcoming classrooms that foster inclusivity, understanding, and the academic and personal growth of all learners, regardless of cultural or linguistic background.
Learning objectives
Upon completion of the “Multicultural Classroom” Erasmus+ KA1 Course, participants will be able to:
- Develop an understanding of the key concepts related to multicultural education, including cultural diversity, intercultural communication, and cultural sensitivity.
- Apply practical strategies and techniques for addressing cultural biases and building relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Create a welcoming and supportive classroom environment that is conducive to the learning and development of all students, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background.
- Use a range of interactive and experiential methodologies to engage with students from diverse backgrounds and to create a culture of inclusivity and understanding in the classroom.
- Reflect on their own cultural backgrounds and biases, and develop a deeper understanding of how these may impact their interactions with students from diverse backgrounds.

Price:EUR 400

Course package content:
The course fee is 80 euros per person per day, which includes:
1. Participation in the course sessions.
2. Coffee breaks provided after each daily session.
3. Accompaniment for a city tour to explore the local area.
What’s not included in the fee:
1. Entrance fees to museums and cultural sites during the city tour.
2. Some optional cultural activities may require an additional fee.
3. Accommodation, meals, and transportation are not covered and must be arranged individually by the participants.

Cancellation & changes:
In the event of force majeure—such as natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or other unforeseen events beyond our control—we will:
1. Offer participants the option to reschedule for a future course date.
2. Provide a voucher for the course fee, valid for up to one year, to be used for any of our upcoming courses.
