We had a debate format discussion on Justice with our students.
During the discussion, we looked for an answer to the question of what is not justice. Equality is not justice. People often consider equality to be justice. Good equality is not justice. Often, equal treatment leads to the greatest injustice.
Paying all workers the same salary is equal but unfair. We said that justice is giving everything its due. Those who work hard should be paid more and those who work less should be paid less. That's justice. Being treated equally does not ensure justice. It is fair that the thirsty should drink more water
