Finnish teachers involved in the project

From left to right:

"My name is Monika Winberg-Nikkola and I teach biology and geography. I was a member of our International team from 2020 to 2022 and I was happy hosting the Erasmus meet in Naantali just before Christmas 2021. I was also happy and lucky to visit Italy this spring (2023). This project has meant a lot to me, meeting nice people from different European countries."

"My name is Toini Aro. I teach English at Naantali Upper Secondary School. This term (2022-2023) I belonged to the internationa team at our school. I had the priviledge to join our group on the visit to Turkey, which was an interesting experience. I have helped with the planning and execution of the surveys and various project activities."

"I am the Finnish coordinator of the project, Linda-Maria Lundén. I teach history and social studies at Naantali Upper Secondary School. I have attended every mobility in the project, hosted visitors in Naantali just before Christmas 2021, and organized local activities like visits to municipality. The project has offered me wealth of experiences and opportunities to create contacts around Europe." 

"My name is Eija Mäenpää and I work as the principal in our school and I teach some English, too. I had the opportunity to visit a school in Teneriffe, Icod de los Vinos in this Erasmus project. We were also lucky to host visitors in our school during winter time and we had nice Christmas activities with our international friends."

"My name is Sanna Vuola. I teach Finnish and literature. I was one of the teachers hosting a meeting in Finland 2021 and spring 2022 I had a lovely visit in Portugal. I was a member of school´s International team from 2020 to 2022 and during that time I helped to organize local activities in Naantali."

"Hi, my name is Jarkko Kotilainen but people call me Jacky. I have been teaching philosophy and religious studies at Naantali Upper Secondary School for 12 years and in this Erasmus project I have been organizing sports events and having yoga class for my students. I am member of our school´s International team from 2022 to 2023."

"I am Jouni Ristolainen and teach history and social studies at Naantali Upper Secondary School. I was a member of our school´s International team from 2021 to 2022 and I was happy hosting the Erasmus meet in Naantali just before Christmas 2021. I also helped organize some local activities."

And last but not least:

"I am Eero Latvala and I teach Physical Education in Naantali upper secondary school. I am currently member of our school´s International team. I took part in mobility in Czech Republic in January 2023. I was responsible organizing three sport days during 2022-2023: The great burdock competition, volleyball tournament and last sport day, outdoor sport day."
