Dear Partners, Our Girls' Shine project has come to an end. We achieved our main goal of increasing awareness of the importance of education for children, especially girls. Through in-depth research and presentations, students deepened their understanding of how education can transform lives and promote gender equality. The students and their teachers were fantastic. They shared ideas, found solutions, and participated in classes with enthusiasm.

Thanks to this amazing, helpful, and united team!!!

We also emphasized gender equality and prevention of discrimination against women in democracy and human rights, philosophy and psychology courses. We emphasized in forums in mixed school teams that education is important for all people, especially for girls. We researched exemplary Turkish and world scientists, writers and philosophers. We visited a village school in January. We prepared our books, bookmarks, letters and bracelets on our way to school. We postponed our school visit due to exams. Students wrote  their feelings and thoughts in their letters for students to read. Our students were role models for their siblings in the village school. We shared all the activities we did on the school website and on the school eTwinning projects Instagram page. We carried out a successful project with our students. I would like to thank our team, especially our ISBL students, all students and all our teachers. Co-founder Dr.Assiye Şahin Akbulut
