... it was the day to visit some Central Evia Local Products Businesses .....

Euboian Products

 

... after a cultural/touristic stop and a guided tour in Eretria Archaeological Area, the Ancient Theatre and New Eretria town

next guided tour was in the "Septem" Microbrewery, a new business, located in Orologio in  the Centre of Evia Island, producing only non-pasteurized beer as they do not want to ruin and flatten the hoppy aroma and flavour of the beer with the thermal process of pasteurization, with the vision for their product to be a distictive quality beer.

The owner gave a guided tour in the premises of beer production and noted that everyone must be responsible and follow the legal age when he/she consumes alcohol..

Septem Microbrewery

 

... leaving the Microbrewery, students and teachers visited  Sarlis Biological Farm, located in a fertile valley created by the confluence of the Manikiatis and Koletras torrents, surrounded by a forest of age-old platanus trees and a flora of rare plants and herbs. 

A farm of biological cultivation of the figs of Kimi P.D.O. and its by-products!
A nutritional oasis in Evia island where the people make use of  "green" ideas (circular economy, waste recycling etc).
