The Assemblywomen: women´s voices from ancient to modern times.

We are specially proud of the interview we did to a famous actress who is doing performances all around Spain with the Assemblywomen

Preparing the interviews, meeting the women and becoming budding journalists was a great activity that helped the students to develop important soft skills. At the same time reading and writing a comment about the women of the other countries increased their critical thinking!!!
 

The students of IES Al Ándalus have created a presentation for the dissemination of the project. We have compiled all the activities we have carried out, which have been many!

Today we have watched the videos and read the interviews of the women who inspire us. We have also chosen the most inspiring woman for each of us. Since ancient times, women have had to face gender stereotypes, they have had to break barriers and fight for equality. Today there are many women holding jobs that would have been impossible in classical Greece. However, there is still a long way to go to achieve total equality. The women's fight is not over.

Celebrating etwinning Day 24 at IES Jándula, our ambassador students have visited students from all levels and have explained our projects, specially Assemblywomen. All students  have enjoyed playing  together a kahoot about etwinning, their benefits and our projects. The winners have received some prizes.
