Handbooks and resources on Jewish cemeteries
Protecting the Jewish cemeteries of Europe: fostering stakeholders’ involvement and awareness raising is a project co-funded by the EU and implemented by ESJF, Centropa and FJH. It aims to understand the extent to which Jewish heritage is currently utilised as a teaching resource to present the Jewish narrative in Europe.
The project aims to develop a better understanding of Europe’s diverse multicultural past and present, and to promote empathy, tolerance and respect while combatting ignorance, prejudice, antisemitism and racism. The project has produced a number of teaching materials, such as handbooks and lesson plans.
