This approach allows participants to engage actively with the content, apply concepts in real-world scenarios and learn from the experiences of professionals and other participants. The course also utilizes reflective practices and peer feedback to deepen understanding and personal growth.

Assessment is based on active participation, the completion of a milestone project where participants design a volunteer or internship program plan tailored to their museum's needs and a presentation of this plan to the group for feedback.
