Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city
Individual expectations, setting goals for the week
Presentation of ESD and its 4 pillars and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

Reflection on how to broaden the experience outside my school, involving my students
Who are the actors working with schools ?
The different areas where schools can be located and their possible issues
How to start a project and to include ?

Visit of a permaculture farm

Reflection on my own practice

Learning objectives
During the course, participants will :
- Become familiar with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and learn about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
-Build a reflexive approach on their own practice inside and outside the classroom to keep students engrossed and motivated throughout their school curriculums.
-Reflect on the best way to effectively implement ESD into their teaching methods
-Learn how to lead exciting environment-friendly projects and promote “green” activities
-Share experiences and exchange good practices with teachers and education staff from all over Europe.
Methodology & assessment
Led by professionals of education with a real experience of teaching, the course will take the form of hands-on workshops with exchanges of practices, brainstorming, analysis and real case scenario examples, participants will reflect on the tools and strategies that will make an impact in their daily practice. A great emphasis will be therefore put on collaboration and interaction between participants to create relevant resources and projects that each of them will be able to take back to school.
Certification details
Each participant will be granted a Certificate of Attendance as well as Certificate of Obtained Competences.
If requested - a Europass Mobility Certificate will be issued.
Our courses are created and conducted accordingly to Quality Standards for courses under Key Action 1
We provide participants with help in completing Learning Agreements, as well as any documents necessary for their organisations.

Cultural visits
Cultural visits of Senlis and Paris are included in the training programme. This programme can be changed to meet your expectations.
