Day 1
- Participants’ arrival
- Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city

- Course introduction
- Digital competence: this part provides an overview of the reasons for integrating technology in a classroom and at school addresses teachers’ concerns and needs regarding using ICT tools. Participants will also see some examples of effective use of ICT tools in a classroom.
-Project work: using ICT tools on participants’ own examples.

 

Day 2
- The next era of presentations: how to impress and engage the audience
- Practical work: creating an interactive presentation with Prezi and/or Mentimeter
- Practical work: creating your first website or blog with Weebly

- Introduction to virtual whiteboard
- Practical work: learning Apps as a tool to create a virtual escape game


Day 3
- ICT tools for a more effective and engaging classroom management
- How to effortlessly switch to non-traditional teaching and interact with your students
- Additional ICT tools, apps and web solutions that can be used in teaching and education Tools for sharing resources: e-portfolio, social media, webquest, PeerTube, padlet
 

Day 4
- Introduction to e-learning, remote learning and flipped classroom
- Practical work: creating an e-learning classroom with framevr.io
- Practical work: creating and administering a quiz and an assignment

- Tailored practice based on the participants learning needs and expectations


Day 5
- Space for discussion of future cooperation and planning follow up activities
- Course roundup and final evaluation
- Validation of learning outcomes and certification ceremony
- Participants departure

Learning objectives

During the course, participants will delve into the fundamentals / find their way out of the maze of ICT tools in education by:

 

- Getting to know the latest trends and the most relevant ICT tools for educators in the market and choose the ones that suit them the most.        

                

 -Iimproving their digital awareness and (re)gaining confidence to use the tools they have heard about but think they are way too complicated for them.


- Boosting up their technology skills for effective classroom management.


- Reflecting on the relevance and future of new technologies in education.

         

- Learning about how to survive (and more than that) the ruthless world of remote learning and offer students the appropriate support and the most adapted contents they need in this challenging digital context.


- Assessing the right way to implement a sustainable and efficient ICT policy in their school.


- Exchanging good practices and sharing experiences with teachers and education staff from all over Europe.  

Methodology & assessment

This course is based on participants’ needs and interests related to their areas of teaching and professional development. Designed specifically to ensure interactivity through input sessions, group project and collaborative work, the course will allow participants to be actively involved at each stage of the training.
Led by professionals of education with a real experience of teaching, the course will take the form of hands-on workshops with exchanges of practices, brainstorming, analysis and real case scenario examples, participants will reflect on the tools and strategies that will make an impact in their daily practice. A great emphasis will be therefore put on collaboration and interaction between participants to create relevant resources and projects that each of them will be able to take back to school.

Certification details

 

Each participant will be granted a Certificate of Attendance as well as Certificate of Obtained Competences.  

If requested - a Europass Mobility Certificate will be issued. 

Our courses are created and conducted accordingly to Quality Standards for courses under Key Action 1

We provide participants with help in completing Learning Agreements, as well as any documents necessary for their organisations.

    Accommodation can be organized according to your budget and specific requirements. Once the subscription form with all the information is completed, we will provide you with a list of hotels which meet your requirements. 

     

    Cultural visits 

    Cultural visits of Senlis and Paris are included in the training programme. This programme can be changed to meet your expectations.
