This course allows knowing how the sound acts on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level as well as the students will experiment how the sound helps to achieve meditation state quickly. The students will learn to play singing bowls, gongs and instruments of children´s sound/music therapy and they will learn how to do a session for children and with children bordering on the playful-music

Description

Many teachers wonder how they can improve their results as far as grades, even the behaviour of their students, are concerned. Most of the time, teachers put focus on teaching the contents of the subject, but maybe they don´t think about techniques to improve learning like meditation taking into account that it is important to prepare the brain of the students as the knowledge they are going to receive. Sound/music therapy is presented like a strategy to improve the learning, preparing the brain for receiving information and contributing to an intelectual efficiency. We also will see how certain sounds produce the opposite effect, blocking learning, something that teachers should be aware. However, meditation can be difficult to achieve for children. In this sense, sound therapy can be very useful, since with instruments of sound therapy, we get meditative state faster. We will see about how the sound works, theory and experimental videos. We will learn how to play singing bowls and go

Learning objectives

- Understanding how works the sound therapy in the different levels such us mental, physics, emotional and energetic.

- Experimenting the effect of this therapy for relaxation/meditation.

- Knowing how create sessions with singing bowls, gongs, children instruments sound therapy, singing, games and dance.

Methodology & assessment

Methodology:

This course will be carried out through a combination of practical workshops and theoretical presentations.

The practical workshops will focus on activities that allow participants to apply the concepts learned in the course in the classroom. Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals in this field and share their experiences and knowledge.

Theoretical presentations by experts will provide a solid foundation in the principles of sound therapy, as well as best practices for experimented it.

Assessment:

The evaluation of the course will be based on demonstrating the ability to apply the concepts learned in the course by presenting an action plan to promote sound therapy techniques.

In addition, a feedback form will be provided to participants at the end of the course to assess their satisfaction with the course content and the quality of teaching.

Materials and learning resources are provided to participate in the workshops and different course sessions.

Depending on the course, you may be required to bring your own laptop.
