Socioemocional selfregulation: From early childhood to primary classroom
Learning the implications of Neuroscience for human development has become a priority for those who are committed to educational innovation. As long as education aims to move towards learning models that take into account the advances made by neuroscience, an interdisciplinary approach (neuroscience-education) is inevitable when designing any educational strategy in learning contexts.
Description
Along this teacher training we will explore how the early experiences shape the quality of brain architecture and establish either a sturdy or a fragile foundation for all of the learning, health, our socio-emotional behavior, wellbeing and personal happiness throughout life, providing educators scientific knowledge about the benefits of self-regulation for early childhood and primary children, through practical education recommendations that help foster during this critical period the child´s socio-emotional self-regulation and behavioral balance for his entire life.
In early childhood & primary classroom children need to develop a set of core life skills to manage school, work, outside interests, and social relationships successfully. Early childhood is a critical time for the brain, when connections are being made that become the foundation for a child’s future health, learning, and behavior.
