The participants will develop the ideas and best practices as well as practical experience and first-hand knowledge on how to integrate outdoor education in formal education.

- Introduction into concepts of outdoor education
- Teacher as a mentor/ a guide
2 Day
- Mindful teacher teaches students how to deal with emotions
- 5 steps of self-regulation- recognizing the feelings, being aware, reflecting the emotions. how to deal with anger, anxiety, worries
- Easy exercises to calm down, relax- the deep breathing exercises and games
3 Day
- The importance of gratitude in everyday life, self- awareness and of other people all around
- Active listening- talking stick
- Mindful craft- how to absorb the brain to free it from anxiety and worries?
- Five domains of self- reg- exercises for children with attention deficit, stressors in a cognitive domain
4 Day
- The journey stick - traditions of Aborigines- tell me your story
- Hugging a tree- guess which tree you met
- Squirrel hunt and seek
- Self-reg board game
- Explaining the purpose of group game- project
- City Game- challenge- following the instructions given

Learning objectives
Thanks to this course the participant will:
- Learn and discuss the principles and cultural aspects of outdoor education
- Learn how to design, plan and deliver outdoor educational classes
- learn how to help students to manage the stress and other difficult emotions
- learn how to help student to self- regulate in order to improve their self- confidence, empathy to work in a group and how to help them with social growth
- Learn how to deliver mindful exercises within nature with some elements of basic yoga practice and breathing exercises
- Get to know and experiment practical activities and group games that could be used and integrated in real courses
- Learn how to prepare basic tools to explore the nature
- Exchange best practices and share experience with other participants from around Europe
Methodology & assessment
Lectures, presentation, workshops, group activities, hands-on activities indoor and outdoor,
discussions, teamwork, group work.
Feedback sessions will be used to provide participants with constructive feedback on their own
learning and on the activities carried and during the training course.
We support our participants in every step of the course: from application to preparation, from
monitoring and evaluation to the collection of all their final documentation.
